I have 29 years in the field of Telecommunications, 14 with hands on experience, and in the last 15 years have acted in the capacity of Operations and Project Management installing and managing multiple projects to exceed $50M a year in sales. All of the installs have been with copper, fiber, power, security, environmentals and home automation either to station and or for backbone purposes (WAN/LAN, SONET, ATM, Wireless, WIFI, RF, Cellular, ATM, Ethernet, Token Ring, ISDN, T-1, POTS).

Manage the day to say operations of 28 technicians that perform a variety of installation and repair work as well as installs for POTS / DSL / FTTP / FTTC. Easement and Right of Way work. Road move projects, Commercial Power to Rectifier and battery backup as well as generator maintenance. Basic Commercial and Residential Electric. Accountable for 47 buildings in the Naples area for plumbing, HVAC, water, sewer, environmentals, energy management, roofing, concrete, structure, painting, etc.  Also accountable to schedule training, Estimate and Budget for tools, materials, purchases, labor, facility upkeep, maintenance, and renovation, equipment/asset purchases and Fleet Management for 147 vehicles. Negotiate with union reps as well as upper Management to assure the most cost efficient work force with the utmost quality in service delivery.

 

 

12/04 - 1/2009 Local Manager I&R Frontier Communications / Citizens Communications:

Manage the daily operation of 23 Installation and repair techs and 12 Splicers and a 5 Tech Line Crew that provide POTS / Centrex / DSL / T1 / ISDN / DS3 / and Business Solutions to the Orange County New York territory. Schedule for training, Estimate and Budget for tools, materials, purchases, labor, equipment and Fleet Management for 89 vehicles. Negotiate with union reps as well as upper Management to assure the most cost efficient work force with the utmost quality in service delivery. Responsibilities are for over 120,000 access lines Centrex and POTS, 30,000 DSL circuits, and various special circuits. Present Salary 80,000 plus expenses and bonuses


12/15/03 - 10/01/04 Senior Project Manager/Account Manager / US Information Systems

Manage the daily operations of a team of 72 technicians and an office staff of twelve at Goldman Sachs NY campus. Responsibilities included the day-to-day maintenance of a twelve building campus in the financial district in downtown Manhattan. My team installs and works on phones (Centrex / AVAYA-G3, CISCO IP), computers, servers, switches, hubs, routers, CATV, security devices, and all voice data power and security infrastructure. It requires around the clock coverage 7 days a week. Other responsibilities include: Invoicing, RFP, RFI, estimating, budgeting, purchasing, scheduling workload and workflow, and logistics.

Salary: 95,000 plus bonuses and expenses

 

03/06/00 - 12/15/03 Senior Project Manager/Operations Manager / US Information Systems 
Managed multiple projects (WAN/LAN, Wireless, WIFI, RF, Cellular, SONET, ATM, Ethernet, Token Ring, ISDN, T-1, POTS) throughout the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut area. Overseeing the install of multiple projects (Copper and Fiber Optic installs for a variety of topologies) with budgets of over 6 million dollars. Coordination on a daily basis with numerous individuals including General Contractors/ Other Trades to Customer/Clients and Union Affiliates. Accounted for a team of eight Project/Operations Managers to assure their abilities to perform their jobs. Developed training programs for the field personnel. Reviewed and accounted for the performance of 120 plus technicians in the field. Other responsibilities include: Invoicing, RFP, RFI, budgeting, estimating, purchasing, scheduling workload and workflow, and logistics.

Beginning Salary: $65,000 plus bonuses and expenses

Ending Salary: $85,000 plus bonuses and expenses


08/23/93 - 03/06/00 Project supervisor/ Telefuture Communications 
Managed and installed wide and local area networks in large quantities and in many sites. I hold a current Connecticut State T-2 License, and a solid understanding of The National Electric Code, TIA/EIA Standards, and the TSB`S for communication installations. I also possess a good mechanical background that includes bending and hanging conduit, wiremold, raceways, ladderack, etc. My background for cabling ranges from coax, IBM type, twisted pair, and multi conductor to fiber optics, both indoor and outdoor. I’m also familiar with wireless WAN as I was not only project manager, but also chief installer and technician of a 17 building school district that is presently running wireless over a 34 mile radius of it’s center of transmission. My capabilities include planning, installing, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting any and all wiring systems for any communication system/ topology (WAN/LAN, Commercial Power, Rectifier and Battery backup, Wireless, WIFI, RF, Cellular, SONET, ATM, Ethernet, Token Ring, ISDN, T-1, POTS)

Beginning Salary: $16.00 an hour

Ending Salary: $26.40 an hour

10/26/86 - 08/23/93 Crew Chief / J.R Communications 
I started in J.R as an apprentice. This is where I received a tremendous amount of training in the communication field. Being a premier installer of communication networks and phone systems for such companies as NEC, Nortel, Siemens, IBM Rolm, and Tel-Plus, I learned the basics of wiring and programming. Terminations on 66 block, Bix, Krone, 110 AT@T, and a variety of other methods such as wire wrap, and spade lug. I worked on phone equipment from 1A2, key equipment to digital pbx. Working on installs ranging from 60 to 7000 locations, with a large amount of riser backbone and OSP work. I also have worked outside plant for both fiber and copper either aerial and /or direct burial, or in manholes through pipe underground.

Beginning Salary: $5.50 an hour

Ending Salary: $14.00 an hour


I have no problem with customer relations as I feel I am an easy person to get along with, and I have been in situations that required alot of diplomacy, and a good head to appease any customer concerns. I feel I am an asset to any company that will welcome me aboard.
